About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Resort Manager to lead operations on a luxury private island property in the Seychelles. This is a unique opportunity for a well-rounded hospitality professional to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a remote, ultra-luxury environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day resort operations, ensuring exceptional service standards
- Lead, manage, and inspire a diverse, multi-departmental team
- Maintain and uphold luxury service standards and brand values
- Drive team performance through training, mentoring, and development
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues proactively and professionally
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless operations
- Monitor budgets, costs, and financial performance alongside the finance team
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in a senior hospitality management role within an ultra-luxury property
- Proven remote island or hardship location experience (essential)
- Pre-opening experience is a must
- Strong Rooms Division background (F&B-focused candidates will not be considered)
- Fluent in English plus at least two additional languages (one must be German)
- Additional languages such as Swiss German or Russian advantageous
