About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Front of House Manager to join our team at our upmarket restaurant in Clearwater, Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and be able to manage, motivate, and train Front of House staff to deliver outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the Front of House
- Ensure smooth service delivery during peak hours
- Oversee reservations and manage floor operations
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Lead and motivate Front of House staff
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role within an upmarket or high-volume restaurant environment
- Proven track record in managing guest relations and resolving conflicts professionally
- Ability to ensure smooth service delivery, especially during peak hours
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Experience overseeing reservations and managing floor operations
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role within an upmarket or high-volume restaurant environment (formal education/certification not required)
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R18 000 per month
