About the Role
A prominent retail giant is seeking a Risk and Analytics Manager to enhance their decision-making and risk mitigation strategies. As part of their team, you will provide information, analyses, reports, and technical support for the development and implementation of data-driven credit risk strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects to improve performance
- Write reports to inform business decisions
- Lead meetings with stakeholders to discuss credit risk strategies
- Monitor models and report back to the board
Requirements
- 6+ years’ experience in consumer credit within a Credit Risk analytics environment
- Understanding of the credit life cycle
- Revolving store card or credit card experience advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and within structured and unstructured parameters
- Predictive Analytics experience with a highly numerate background (advantageous)
- Must be able to monitor models and report back to the board
Qualifications
- Relevant post-graduate Degree in mathematical or statistical oriented subjects preferred
- Business Science Degree/B. Com Degree or equivalent
Salary & Benefits
Cost to company of up to R1m Per Annum negotiable on experience and ability
