About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, excellent interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the fresh produce industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Present, promote and sell products
  • Build long term relationships with customers
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
  • Take responsibility for customer complaints and actively work to resolve them
  • Manage sales team, Drafts person & marketing activities
  • Address internal staff issues (Sales department)
  • Oversee annual sales budget, territory estimates & market potential

Requirements

  • Diploma in Marketing / Sales advantageous
  • At least 3 years Sales Manager experience
  • Agricultural background essential
  • Strong knowledge of fresh produce and seasonal variations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in using sales software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong leadership and communications skills
  • A proactive and results-driven approach, with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
