Job Description
You will be responsible for developing robust data models, ETL processes, and reporting services that support multiple business units. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical thinking, adaptability, and the ability to quickly understand new business concepts.
Responsibilities:
- Champion BI and Data Warehouse architecture
- Promote data quality, integrity, and reliability within BI solutions
- Contribute to and participate in architectural forums
- Data modelling (dimensional, multidimensional, and relational)
- Design and implement ETL architecture
- Process automation and architectural design
- PL/SQL development and optimization
- Report development and support
- Promote and enable self-service BI
- IT and business process optimization
- Data integration across legacy and modern systems
- Collaborate with business users to gather and define requirements
- Develop ad-hoc scripts to support analytical queries
- Batch processing support and scheduling
- Agile documentation
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years‘ experience in Data Warehousing and/or ETL development
- Strong architectural mindset
- Data and report modelling expertise
- Batch processing and scheduling experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management
- Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications
- Enterprise Data Warehousing (Kimball methodology)
- ETL tools (SSIS, IBM DataStage, Informatica, ODI, or similar)
- PL/SQL or T-SQL scripting and optimization
- Agile delivery experience (SCRUM)
