Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Serve as the key point of contact for cost management across multiple projects. Lead a team to ensure accurate estimates, cost planning, and financial reporting . Develop and present cost plans and budget breakdowns to clients. Oversee the tendering process , including documentation, procurement, and contract negotiations. Manage post-contract cost variations, change control processes, and final account settlements . Provide strategic cost advice to clients, identifying value-driven solutions. Ensure compliance with industry standards, legislation, and contractual requirements . What Were Looking For: 10 years of experience in cost consultancy or a similar role. A degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or a related field . Professional qualification or membership with SCSI, RICS, CIOB, or an equivalent institution (or working towards it). Strong knowledge of construction contracts, industry regulations, and cost estimation methods . Proficiency in cost estimating software, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD ; knowledge of BIM is a plus. Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills . A strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities . A valid driving license .
