About the Role
We are partnering with a luxury Safari Lodge in KwaZulu-Natal to recruit highly professional guides who share our passion for conservation-driven safari experiences. Set within a vast and rewilded wilderness area, this exceptional reserve is committed to biodiversity restoration, wildlife protection, and meaningful community upliftment. We seek experienced and dedicated individuals to join our passionate safari team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, safe, and educational safari experiences for guests.
- Support the leadership, mentoring, and development of junior guides.
- Uphold the lodge’s conservation ethos and ensure compliance with reserve protocols.
- Contribute to a consistently high standard of guiding within a Big 5 environment.
Requirements
- FGASA Professional Field Guide qualification (minimum Level 2 recommended).
- Valid Trails Guide qualification (advantageous, if applicable to operations).
- Valid PDP and driver’s license (Code B / C1 as applicable).
- First Aid Level 2 (minimum).
Qualifications
- FGASA Field Guide qualification (minimum Level 1; Level 2 advantageous).
- Valid PDP and driver’s license.
