About the Role
Neoking Trading is seeking a self-driven Site Agent/Project Manager to oversee the construction of our projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all site activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget. As a key member of our team, you will represent Neoking Trading at external stakeholders’ meetings and provide weekly and monthly reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan the project and ensure that site teams are able to deliver without delays.
- Maintain an excellent standard of quality and build according to project specifications.
- Manage site foremen & site personnel.
- Perform full pre-inspection to ensure that the site meets legislated construction regulations.
- Timeous planning of subcontractor and material order requirements.
- Analyse, interpret design drawings & details, and provide technical guidance.
- Procure adequate resources both labour and materials according to the project requirement.
- Preparation of resource and material schedules for procurement.
- Develop, implement, manage, and update effective programming of the works.
- Effectively manage and monitor construction productivity in accordance to the project timeline.
- Operate within approved budgets and report on potential variations.
- Manage health & safety aspects of the project.
- Professionally represent Neoking Trading at external stakeholders’ meetings.
- Weekly and monthly report writing according to the company’s requirements.
Requirements
- BSc/Btech in Civil Engineering, or related construction qualification.
- Registration with ECSA or SACPCMP.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Clear health record.
- Clear criminal record.
- Construction experience in renovations and built environment.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in site supervision and construction management.
