About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our team at MECS Africa. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software programs that meet our business needs. You will work closely with functional consultants and system analysts to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and amend programs in accordance with the design, agreed development standards and tools.
- Implement and maintain software programs.
- Prioritize and implement enhancements.
- Plan and perform various tests (integration and system testing).
- Write clear codes and prepare coding documentations.
- Develop Oracle reports, database procedures and scripts.
- Modify existing codes to optimize Business applications.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualification: B Degree or B Tech in Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification in the IT field.
- Certifications:
- Java/Python certification AND
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator OR
- Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate
- Preferred:
- Power BI
- Microsoft Dataverse
- Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure
- Certification in any ERP platform
