South Africa: Sous Chef

We are seeking a passionate and creative Sous Chef to help lead this talented culinary team in crafting world-class ‘gastronomic safaris’- from sunrise breakfasts in the bush to intimate, starlit dinners in the boma. Core criteria: At least 3-5 years of Sous level experience within a luxury safari establishment (preferred) A formal culinary qualification Able to assist the Head Chef in implementing kitchen standards Be able to co-manage all administrative departmental duties (staff files, off-day schedule, hygiene standards etc.) Must be excellent in stock controls, ordering processes, and stock rotation Proactive maintenance of all kitchen equipment Excellent written and verbal communication across all departments. This is a live-in position.
