About the Role
The Inventory Controller will be responsible for managing and maintaining product costing structures, inventory movements, and stock records across the business. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication with finance and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain product costing structures, including recipe costing and bill of materials (BOMs)
- Monitor and control inventory movements across the business
- Process and verify GRVs (Goods Received Vouchers) and supplier deliveries
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory systems
- Coordinate and oversee regular stock takes and stock reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve stock variances, wastage, and costing discrepancies
- Assist with setting up stock codes, costing models, and system structures
Requirements
- Experience working with data and costings
- Previous experience with inventory management and stock control
- Practical experience handling GRVs, stock movements, and stock reconciliation processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong Excel skills
- Comfortable working with ERP, inventory, or accounting systems
- Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
