About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Store Supervisor to lead our team at OR Tambo Airport. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall success of our food outlet, providing exceptional customer service and adhering to company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the shop, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and food safety standards at all times
- Recruit, train, and motivate staff members to deliver high-quality service and maintain a positive work environment
- Manage inventory levels and orders to prevent shortages and minimize waste
- Monitor and analyse sales and financial reports
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations and company guidelines
Requirements
- Previous experience managing a coffee shop or restaurant is essential
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in inventory management and cost control techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
