Job Summary
We act for a leading manufacturing company in the Pietermaritzburg area, currently seeking a dedicated Technical Assistant to carry out process audits, process monitoring and evaluation- ensuring that the correct specification and procedures are followed. Key
Requirements:
Diploma in Rubber Technology/Polymer Technology. 1 experience in rubber production industry. Computer Literacy (Advance Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Key
Responsibilities:
Daily inspection of products. Ensure technical specifications are adhered to during the production process. Identification of all incoming compounds Compiling test reports and /or results. Reporting results to the customers both internally and externally Liaising with customers pertains to products testing and results. Conducting relevant tests where necessary. Controlling of non-conformances Conduct investigations upon products failures (Root Cause Analysis) Enforce all quality systems. (ISO 9001) Enforce 100% housekeeping. Ensure health, safety and environmental and quality policies are observed and resources for this are sourced (ISO 14001) We welcome all applications from candidates that meet the above set requirements.
