About the Role
As a Floor Supervisor at our retail store, you will be responsible for leading a team of floor staff to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, managing stock levels, and enforcing company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate activities of floor staff
- Ensure high levels of customer service and resolve customer queries efficiently
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and performance
- Assist with staff training, coaching, and development
- Manage stock control, including receiving, counting, and reporting discrepancies
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards
- Support management in achieving sales targets and operational goals
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Minimum 23 years experience in a retail supervisory role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Basic computer literacy
