About the Role

The Limpopo Career Consortium (Limcaco) is seeking an experienced Assistant Planner to join their team in Steelpoort. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planned maintenance, experience with ERP systems, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and scheduling of maintenance activities for Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMMs)
• Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
• Manage and maintain records of maintenance activities, including documentation and reporting
• Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth operations and efficient use of resources
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff members

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Planned Maintenance Certificate Diploma (advantageous)
• At least 2 years experience in Planned Maintenance within a mining environment
• At least 2 years experience in Planned Maintenance on Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMMs)
• Working knowledge and practical experience with a procurement system (e.g. Coupa)
• Computer literate; MS Office proficient
