This role is suited to a motivated hospitality professional looking to grow into a senior management position within a high-standard environment. Supporting the Restaurant Manager, the Assistant Restaurant Manager will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining service excellence, and assisting in team leadership. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Diploma or relevant qualification in Hospitality Management (advantageous)
  • 2 – 4 years’ experience in a supervisory or senior waiter role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic food and beverage knowledge
  • Ability to lead and support a team
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail and service excellence
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Computer literacy and willingness to learn

Candidate Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations
  • Support and guide the front-of-house team during service
  • Ensure consistent service delivery and guest satisfaction
  • Handle guest queries and feedback professionally
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and administration
  • Maintain high service standards across all dining areas
  • Step into a leadership role when required
  • Support the Restaurant Manager with operational duties
