This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring smooth customs clearance processes and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the clearing process for imports and exports

• Ensure accurate and timely submission of customs documentation

• Liaise with customs officials, shipping lines, and transport providers

• Stay up to date with relevant customs regulations and industry developments

• Monitor and report on clearing delays and proactively resolve issues

Requirements:

• 35 years of experience in clearing and forwarding

• Diploma/degree in Logistics or Supply Chain
• Clearing and Forwarding knowledge
• Sea freight experience

• Strong understanding of SARS EDI system and customs procedures

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
