Guest Relations Officer / Hotel Reception | Luxury Wine Estate | Stellenbosch Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a professional and guest-focused Guest Relations Officer / Hotel Receptionist for a luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch. Requirements: · Hospitality Certificate or Diploma · Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a front office or guest relations role · Strong computer literacy and administrative abilities · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) · Passion for hospitality and guest service excellence · Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage with a distinguished clientele · Professional, well-presented, and approachable manner · Punctual, proactive, and self-disciplined with exceptional attention to detail · Team player with a positive attitude and natural warmth · Reliable transport to and from work Key Responsibilities: · Welcome and introduce guests, ensuring a warm and professional first impression · Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately · Communicate relevant guest information to appropriate departments · Assist guests with bookings, tours, transfers, and itinerary planning · Ensure all guest information, billing, and rates are correct in the system · Liaise with external guests and provide assistance to the on-site restaurant as required · Update guest profiles and booking details on Protel · Report maintenance concerns promptly to the manager on duty · Prepare welcome letters, registration cards, and guest documentation · Manage and maintain day sheets, guest call logs, and booking coordination · Support Reservations, Spa, Housekeeping, and Restaurant teams as needed · Handle lunch and dinner bookings using Dine-plan · Conduct thorough shift handovers, including coordination with the Night Auditor · Ensure all transfers are booked, tracked, and correctly charged · Perform night audit duties twice per month Package: · Salary: Negotiable, dependent on experience To apply for the Guest Relations Officer / Hotel Receptionist position, please send your updated CV, reference letters, qualifications, and a recent head & shoulders photo to Simone@Apply Below.
