About the Role
Delaire Graff Estate is seeking a reliable and skilled HVAC Technician/General Maintenance Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance of our refrigeration and air conditioning systems, as well as performing general maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
- Work on freezer rooms, ice-machines and display fridges
- Routine services on ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
- Identify maintenance risks on equipment
- Electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
- Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance services
- Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
Requirements
- HVAC technical qualifications (air-conditioning technician) / HVAC certification
- Preferably 2 years previous experience
- Braising and soldering skills
- Experience working as a refrigeration, air conditioning, heat pumps repairs, installations, fault finding, maintenance and servicing
- Proficient with manual and power tools
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills
- Ability to maintain a professional working relationship with all departments
- Must be well-presented
- Flexibility and Accountability
