Key Responsibilities System Administration & Operations Manage and maintain Windows-based systems and Microsoft 365 environments Administer Salesforce and system integrations Oversee server operations, migrations, backups, and recovery processes Ensure system performance, uptime, and scalability IT Infrastructure & Security Manage network infrastructure, firewalls, and access controls Implement and maintain cybersecurity frameworks and policies Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and business continuity standards Support & Troubleshooting Provide advanced technical support and resolve complex system issues Troubleshoot network, application, and infrastructure-related incidents Support end users and internal stakeholders across systems Innovation & Development Implement automation solutions to improve efficiency Contribute to continuous improvement of IT systems and processes Support future IT strategy and system enhancements Project & Policy Management Develop, implement, and enforce IT policies and procedures Support IT-related projects, upgrades, and rollouts Maintain documentation and operational standards Minimum Requirements Minimum 3 years experience in IT systems administration, IT operations, or a similar role Strong technical knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Salesforce , and system integrations Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and cybersecurity frameworks Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues effectively Qualifications Essential System Administration certification (e.g. ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Network ) Cybersecurity certification (e.g. CISSP, CompTIA Security ) Microsoft and Salesforce certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate , Salesforce Certified Administrator ) Desirable Qualification in IT, Computer Science, System Administration , or a related field Salesforce Platform App Builder certification Project Management certification (e.g. CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2 Foundation ) Experience working with a Learning Management System (Moodle preferred) Advantageous Skills Familiarity with Moodle LMS Understanding of UX/UI principles Knowledge of ADDIE instructional design model Awareness of accessibility standards and best practices Personal Attributes & Values Commitment to excellence Strong collaboration and teamwork Continuous improvement mindset High levels of accountability and professionalism Application Information All appointments are subject to reference checks, vetting (where applicable), and proof of eligibility to work in South Africa This job description serves as a guide and may be amended to meet organizational requirements If no feedback is received within 3 weeks of application, please consider the application unsuccessful
