• Carry out preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance on production machinery, utilities, and facility infrastructure.
• Diagnose and repair faults on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Support production teams with equipment changeovers, setups, and adjustments.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and upgrades of equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including job cards, checklists, and inspections.
• Monitor equipment condition and report potential issues to prevent breakdowns.
• Ensure adequate stock levels of critical spares and tools.
• Comply with all health, safety, and quality (SHEQ) standards, including lock-out/tag-out and risk assessment protocols.
• Participate in standby and overtime duties as required.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and high equipment availability.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 (or equivalent).
• Recognised Trade Test Certificate (e.g. Fitter, Millwright, Electrician, or similar).
• 3 years’ post-qualification experience in maintenance within a production, FMCG, food, or beverage environment.
• Knowledge of pumps, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and related equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and perform accurate fault-finding.
• Computer literacy (basic MS Office, maintenance systems) is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
