Requirements to Pursue SAICA Articles

Location: Candidates must currently be based in the Western Cape/Stellenbosch region.

Minimum Education: A completed SAICA-accredited undergraduate degree (BCom Accounting or equivalent).

CTA Status: Candidates who have completed or are currently enrolled in CTA (Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting) will be highly considered.

Academic Record: A strong academic transcript is essential.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required; bilingual skills are a significant advantage.

Drivers License: A valid driver’s license and own reliable transport are preferred.
Key Responsibilities

Audit & Assurance: Assist in the planning and execution of external audits across various industries.

Financial Reporting: Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS for SMEs.

Taxation: Assist with the calculation and submission of various statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax).

Governance: Evaluate and test internal control environments for clients.

Compliance: Maintain high ethical standards and adhere to SAICAs training regulations and competencies.
