About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a highly motivated and analytical graduate to join their prestigious firm in Stellenbosch as a SAICA Trainee Clerk. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to gain diverse exposure while working toward your CA(SA) designation in a professional, high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of external audits across various industries.
- Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS for SMEs.
- Assist with the calculation and submission of various statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax).
- Evaluate and test internal control environments for clients.
- Maintain high ethical standards and adhere to SAICAs training regulations and competencies.
Requirements
- Location: Candidates must currently be based in the Western Cape/Stellenbosch region.
- Minimum Education: A completed SAICA-accredited undergraduate degree (BCom Accounting or equivalent).
- CTA Status: Candidates who have completed or are currently enrolled in CTA (Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting) will be highly considered.
- Academic Record: A strong academic transcript is essential.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required; bilingual skills are a significant advantage.
- Drivers License: A valid driver’s license and own reliable transport are preferred.
