About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished and results-driven Venue Manager with extensive experience in Wedding and Event Coordination to lead operations at our exclusive, premier wedding destination in the heart of the Cape Winelands. This esteemed venue is renowned for its boundless scenic options, lush lawns, and breathtaking mountain views, maintaining its status as a preferred choice for discerning clients for over a decade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily venue operations, ensuring the property (including the lush lawns and scenic grounds) is maintained to the highest standard reflective of a premier destination.
  • Manage supplier relations (catering, décor, technical, etc.) to ensure consistent quality and adherence to service level agreements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, proactively identifying and resolving potential operational or logistical issues.
  • Assist the owner to manage the venue budget, cost control, and resource allocation efficiently.
  • Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, licensing, and insurance regulations.

Requirements

  • Formal qualification in Event Management
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a senior management role within the hospitality, luxury events, or premium venue sector
