About the Role

Delaire Graff Estate is seeking a professional Security Officer to protect our premises, assets, and personnel. As a key member of our team, you will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our staff, guests, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Protect the company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Ensure the safety of guests, visitors and their property and assets
• Prevent unauthorized/unwanted persons and/or vehicles from entering the Estate
• Prevent loitering of unwanted persons on the Estate
• Properly record the movement of all persons, vehicles and goods entering the Estate
• Courteously receive and assist all persons seeking admission to the Estate
• Properly record security-related requests, complaints, and occurrences
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance
• Ensure that uniform is clean and in good state of repair

Requirements

• Must be registered at PSIRA
• Minimum of Grade C qualification
• Minimum 2 years’ experience
• Contactable references
• Good communication skills
• Need to work shifts
• Clear Criminal Record
• SARS registered
• Green barcoded ID or new ID card
