About the Role
Our Belgian client is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join their Stellenbosch-based team. The company, a rapidly growing international organisation, delivers innovative storage solutions through efficient, automated production processes. They support customers globally in meeting complex logistical challenges by manufacturing high-quality products. This role will play a crucial part in the development and delivery of these solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete structural calculations during the pre-design phase at quotation stage.
- Prepare static calculation documentation upon project delivery.
- Contribute to the development of calculation algorithms and maintain databases within calculation software used.
- Test materials and manage their interpretation.
- Collaborate with external parties to standardize certain calculation processes.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil or relevant) with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
- At least five years of relevant experience in calculations for warehouse and racking solutions.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
- Ability to work with typical CAD software.
- Awareness of mechanical calculations for racking, earthquake stability.
