About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Lodge Manager to join our luxury lodge in Thabazimbi. As the key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of lodge operations, leading staff, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise staff across all lodge departments to ensure operational efficiency
Oversee overall lodge operations and delegate tasks effectively to the management team
Assist with administrative duties and prepare month-end reports
Ensure the lodge operates within budget and manage financial performance
Operate POS systems to manage charges, corrections, and transactions
Maintain high service standards and ensure guest satisfaction
Organise and supervise the team to perform efficiently and to lodge standards

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years experience in lodge management
Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
Ability to mentor, train, and motivate team members at all levels
Strong organisational, logistical planning, and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Business-oriented with problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
Ability to analyse and control costs, losses, and budgets

Qualifications

Grade 12 required

Qualification in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Management, or a relevant field advantageous
