About the Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join our ultra-luxury safari camp based in Touws River, Western Cape. As a creative pastry professional, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills in a unique and high-end bush environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods to luxury standards
• Ensure consistency, creativity, and attention to detail in all pastry offerings
• Assist with menu development and seasonal updates
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pastry kitchen in line with hygiene standards
• Manage stock, ingredients, and portion control within the pastry section
• Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service
• Contribute to an exceptional overall dining experience for guests

Requirements

• Relevant culinary or pastry qualification (preferred)
• Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or similar role in a luxury environment
• Creative flair with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Willingness to live and work in a remote environment

Salary & Benefits

Salary of R12,500 – R14,000 depending on experience
