About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Database Specialist to join our team in Tzaneen. As a key member of our data management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our databases and making a real difference in the way we work with data.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with SQL to organise, protect, and optimise databases
- Ensure quick, precise, and dependable performance when working with data
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of database management best practices
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
Requirements
- Relevant degree in IT, Computer Science, or a similar field
- Strong handle on SQL
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience working with data in all its forms
- Understanding of how to organise, protect, and optimise databases
