About the Role
Career Pathfinders is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the operations of our picturesque country hotel in Tzaneen, Limpopo. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the hotel’s day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all operations of the property, including front desk, housekeeping, service delivery, spa, stock and equipment management, staff management, training and staff development, revenue management, closing deals with sales team, and checking financials.
- Achieve monthly revenue targets, with a minimum of 30% generated at hotel level.
- Host PCO’s, STO’s, and other valuable clients once per month.
- Prioritize customer satisfaction, handle guest complaints and feedback promptly and effectively.
- Develop and implement effective leadership strategies to inspire and motivate staff to provide excellent service.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in the hotel industry through research and reading of E-Hotelier articles.

- Deep understanding of the hospitality industry, including trends, customer preferences, and best practices.
- Strong operational skills for managing day-to-day hotel activities.
- Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and cost control to ensure profitable operations.
- Effective leadership and team management skills.
