Job Summary
The candidate will be responsible for supporting, investigating, and resolving root cause problems within production regarding vehicle electrics/electronics to ensure quality and volume target is met. Additionally, the incumbent will address product-related concerns during the pre-series/launch phase.
Duties:
Establishing root causes and implementing corrective actions for allocated problems. Providing specialized support to production with regard to vehicle electrics/electronics by using various group diagnostic and analysis systems to resolve vehicle electronic issues. Test, analyze, and resolve issues relating to vehicle harness, control unit software, and electronic faults on prototype/pre-series vehicles before the new vehicle launch. Compile and present findings/reports at various forums. Coordination of a cross-departmental team within the Group focusing on problem resolution of vehicle electronic topics. Liaising with overseas counterparts with regards to build and quality matters. Develop, implement, and manage vehicle electronic diagnostic and test equipment within Pilot Hall workshop. Qualification: National Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering (excluding heavy current) or Bachelor in Mechatronics Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in object-oriented programming (e.g. Python, C#, C++, VB) Essential: Knowledgeable about the vehicle electric/electronic systems (brakes, airbags, lights etc.) Ability to apply problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve root-cause problems. Ability and willingness to contribute innovative solutions and ideas. Capable of effectively and efficiently communicating topics to the target audience (including management) by compiling and presenting presentations/analysis. Able to work well under pressure and make sound decisions. Computer literate in MS Office (i.e. Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word). Have sound organization and Project Management skills Have the ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams with other Engineers. Advantage: 3 years experience in vehicle manufacturing or related field to vehicle electronics. Basic understanding of German Language. Experience with Python programming language. Experience with VBA in Excel Experience with vehicle electronic diagnostic system.
