As an HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives. You will work closely with management and employees to ensure a seamless flow of HR services that support the company`s growth and success.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals. You will provide guidance on HR issues and help shape the company`s future direction.
- Compliance & Policy Management: Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and procedures. You will also update and enforce HR policies to maintain a fair and consistent work environment.
- Performance Management: Develop and update Key Performance Areas (KPAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with line management, ensuring timely execution. You will assist in the performance appraisal process and support managers in handling performance issues.
- Talent Management: Create strategies for succession planning and manage talent for key positions. This includes identifying high-potential employees, developing career paths, and implementing retention strategies.
- Transformation & EE Compliance: Oversee compliance with Employment Equity (EE) regulations and ensure accurate transformation reporting. You will work towards achieving the company`s transformation objectives and fostering a diverse workplace.
- Training & Development: Manage the workplace skills plan and annual training report submissions. You will identify training needs, develop training programs, and monitor their effectiveness.
- Project Management: Lead and manage strategic HR projects as needed. This may include projects related to organizational change, culture initiatives, and process improvements.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances. Facilitate conflict resolution and foster a positive work environment.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Partner with the recruitment team to attract and select top talent. Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the company.
- Compensation & Benefits: Assist in the development and administration of compensation and benefits programs. Conduct market research to ensure competitiveness and alignment with company goals.
- HR Metrics & Analytics: Utilize HR data to provide insights and recommendations to management. Track and report on key HR metrics, such as turnover rates and employee satisfaction.
- Health & Safety: Collaborate with the health and safety team to promote a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Industrial Relations: Handle industrial relations matters, including negotiating with unions, managing disciplinary processes, and ensuring compliance with collective agreements. Provide guidance on industrial actions and labor disputes to maintain a harmonious work environment.
Requirements:
- A relevant tertiary qualification with 4-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
- Experience working within large manufactures
- Drivers License & Own Vehicle
- In-depth knowledge of HR legislation, industrial relations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
Remuneration : R40 000 – R45 000 Cost to Company
