Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership & Department Oversight Oversee day-to-day operations across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, and other departments Ensure consistent luxury service standards across all guest-facing areas Proactively resolve operational issues while maintaining a calm, professional environment Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all departments Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing management team Foster a positive, motivated, and accountable team culture Conduct performance reviews, training, and staff development initiatives Financial & Business Management Manage budgets, profitability, and overall business performance Monitor departmental KPIs, revenue targets, and operational efficiency Provide insights and recommendations for improving profitability while maintaining service quality Guest Experience & Brand Representation Champion service excellence and deliver memorable, personalised guest experiences Act as the hotel’s brand ambassador within the industry and community Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and tact Strategic Planning & Reporting Contribute to strategic business planning and operational initiatives Prepare regular operational and financial reports for ownership and stakeholders Requirements & Qualifications: Minimum 5 years’ experience in senior hotel management within a 5-star luxury environment Strong Rooms & Food & Beverage leadership experience Excellent financial acumen, operational understanding, and business insight Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and guest engagement skills Hands-on leader with the ability to thrive under pressure and inspire teams Tertiary qualification in Hospitality or Hotel Management preferred Flexible to work weekends, public holidays, and peak seasons as required What Is On Offer: Competitive, market-related salary , negotiable depending on experience Leadership of a prestigious luxury hotel property in Umhlanga Opportunity to shape operational excellence and deliver memorable guest experiences Collaborative, high-performing team environment with growth and development opportunities
