THE Lodge Anchor or Assistant Front of House (FOH) Manager serves as a vital link between management, staff, and guests, ensuring high service standards in luxury lodge or safari environments. This role often doubles as a Duty Manager or Assistant Lodge Manager during senior management leave cycle
Job Description & Key Responsibilities
- Guest Liaison: Acts as the primary point of contact for guests from arrival to departure, handling check-ins/outs, hosting meals, and personalizing guest itineraries.
- Operational Oversight: Coordinates daily activities across departments, including housekeeping, guiding, and food and beverage (F&B) service.
- Section Management: Oversees the presentation and cleanliness of guest areas, rooms, and public spaces to maintain luxury standards.
- F&B Support: Leads or supports the F&B team, often involving wine service, bar stock management, and dining room setup.
- Administrative Duties: Manages guest billing, reservations support, stock control, and daily operational reporting.
- Staff Leadership: Mentors and supervises junior staff, assists with duty rosters, and ensures inter-departmental communicatioN
