About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our team in Vanderbijlpark, with a focus on providing high-quality healthcare services to employees in industrial settings. The successful candidate will be required to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational health assessments and provide medical care to employees
- Develop and implement health promotion programs for employees
- Maintain accurate records of employee medical history and health status
- Provide training on workplace safety and health procedures
- Collaborate with management to identify and mitigate work-related risks
Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health care
- Primary Health Care Audiometry certificate
- Spirometry certificate
- Dispensing License
- Trauma training/experience (1 to 3 years)
- Knowledge of WCC, COID, and application thereof
- Computer literate with knowledge of relevant regulatory ACTS (RMA)
- Drivers’ license essential
Qualifications
- Formal education in Occupational Health care (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
