About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Executive Chef to join our Luxury Horseback Safari company based in the Waterberg. Our lodge caters exclusively to international clients, specialising in niche equestrian experiences, and requires a chef who can deliver high-quality, memorable dining experiences tailored to a discerning clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare high-quality meals for international guests, ensuring exceptional standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene
- Manage all kitchen operations, including menu development, stock control, ordering, and cost management
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards and efficiency
- Adapt menus to cater to international dietary requirements and preferences
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
- Ensure smooth coordination between the kitchen and lodge operations to enhance guest experiences
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef, preferably in a luxury or safari lodge environment
- Strong leadership, organisational, and time-management skills
- Creative and flexible approach to menu planning and guest service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dynamic team
- Experience in catering for international clients is highly advantageous
Qualifications
