Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing investments, conducting periodic reviews and assessments to ensure alignment with financial goals and risk management strategies.
- Stay abreast of market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes that may impact investment opportunities or portfolio performance, providing timely insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams such as legal, compliance, and operations to ensure seamless execution of investment transactions and adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Implement effective marketing strategies and network development activities to enhance brand visibility and attract investment opportunities.
- Conduct thorough viability studies on prospective companies to evaluate their financial health, market position, and potential for investment.
- Develop and refine financial models to assess investment opportunities, and prepare detailed investment reports presenting findings and recommendations.
- Lead negotiations and structure investment projects with targeted entities to achieve favorable terms, mitigate risks, and optimize investment returns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor`s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field (e.g., BCom).
- Minimum of 2 years` experience in business investment or investment structuring.
- Experience in auditing, banking, or sales and marketing is advantageous.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and investors.
- Strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable terms and outcomes.
- Analytical proficiency to assess financial information and market trends.
- Track record of delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
