Electrical & Electronic Systems Engineer Randburg Qualification and skills required: B. Eng. or B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronic or Electrical & Electronic Engineering Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Visio for schematic creation and documentation. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and datasheets. Familiarity with electrical standards and best practices for vehicle systems. Experience in 3D CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, CATIA) is advantageous. Understanding engineering principles including systems engineering, circuit theory, and signal integrity. Experience in CAN bus and vehicle communication protocols (preferred). Responsibilities: Design, develop and document electrical systems and harness architectures for off-highway vehicles. Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and interface definitions using Microsoft Visio and other CAD tools. Interpret electrical schematics, component datasheets, and technical documentation for system design and troubleshooting. Support preparation of functional specifications, ICDs and system architecture diagrams. Participate in DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) sessions to ensure robust system design.
