About the Role
Lexdan Select is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in the Western Cape region. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial reports, accounts, and processes to ensure the smooth operation of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly and weekly management account reporting.
- Production of monthly bordereaux to insurers.
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Preparing weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Reviewing and approving invoices.
- Processing and paying supplier invoices.
- Daily bookkeeping tasks.
- Assist with implementing and maintaining financial controls and processes.
- Preparation of annual budgets.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience working with Xero accounting software (Quickbooks experience also advantageous).
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
