Job Description
- Assist with the daily management of the residence and facilities
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, inspections, and refurbishments
- Ensure compliance with health & safety (OHS) regulations
- Manage contractors, suppliers, and service providers
- Handle student queries, complaints, and correspondence
- Support student applications, leasing, move-ins, and move-outs
- Ensure adherence to residence policies and house rules
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation
- Assist with lease agreements, renewals, and documentation
- Track contract processes and ensure proper approvals
- Support vacancy management and occupancy tracking
- Assist with budgeting and expense control
- Monitor occupancy levels and vacancy schedules
- Support monthly reporting and management packs
- Support supervision and coordination of on-site staff
- Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and service providers
- Maintain strong relationships with students and stakeholders
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in property management or similar role
- Student accommodation experience essential
- Knowledge of leasing processes, maintenance coordination, and compliance

- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Computer literacy and attention to detail
- Ability to engage effectively with students and stakeholders
- Qualification in Property Management, Facilities Management, or related
- Experience with building maintenance systems and reporting
