About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager – Logistics & Road Freight to join our team in Goodwood, Cape Town. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our road freight business, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects and teams to achieve business objectives
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Lead meetings with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and team members
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and warehouses to ensure compliance with safety regulations
Requirements
- 5 years’ leadership experience in road freight/logistics
- Strong decision-making and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Sound knowledge of transport regulations and industry best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Logistics, or a related field (advantageous)
- Grade 12 / Matric (required)
