About the Role
As a Chef de Partie at Persona Staff, you will be responsible for leading a designated kitchen section in a hotel or guesthouse environment. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure high-quality dishes are prepared and presented according to the establishment’s standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for designated kitchen section (e.g., hot kitchen, breakfast, grill, pastry, etc.)
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes in line with the establishment’s standards
- Ensure consistent portion control and minimal wastage
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with health & safety regulations
- Assist in stock control, stock rotation (FIFO), and inventory management
- Monitor food quality and freshness
- Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef
- Assist with menu preparation and seasonal menu changes where required
- Ensure all equipment is used and maintained correctly
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant culinary qualification (preferred)
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef ready for promotion
- Experience in a hotel or guesthouse environment advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Own transport (preferred due to location)
- Ability to work well under pressure
