About the Role
Takora Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Manager / Site Agent to join our team in Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction project management and be able to lead our site teams to deliver high-quality projects on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage civil construction projects, including pipelines, earthworks, roads, and concrete works
- Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with SANS 1200 / GCC standards
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, costs, and timelines
- Conduct site inspections and enforce safety protocols
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Registered with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) or SACPCMP (South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Profession)
- At least 5 years of experience in civil construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, including SANS 1200 / GCC standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Technology Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (if applicable)
