Job Description

This role involves creatively planning and designing custom leisure FIT itineraries, managing the entire reservations process from quotes to final bookings, invoicing, and travel documents. The ideal candidate will ensure strict adherence to turnaround times and standard operating practices, proactively sell products and services, and ensure the best possible itineraries for guests. Clear and consistent communication with colleagues, agents, operators, guests, and suppliers is essential. Join us and be part of a dynamic, customer-focused team!

Core Criteria:

  • Must have 3-5 years of previous inbound tour operating experience and an understanding of the travel industry
  • Must have an in-depth knowledge of Tourplan (or similar booking systems) and WETU
  • Should have extensive geographical, logistical, and product knowledge of South, Southern, and East Africa
  • Must be fluent in both verbal and written Spanish, preferably South American Spanish
  • Must have excellent communication skills with a strong command of the English language
  • Should have the ability to deliver exceptional service to agents and guests in a calm, professional manner
  • Must have strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
  • Should be proficient in Word, Excel, and have general computer literacy

Key Outputs:

  • Creative and out-of-the-box planning and designing of leisure FIT tailor-made itineraries
  • Managing the reservations process including handling bookings from quote to finalising, including invoicing and travel documents
  • Ensuring turnaround times are strictly adhered to according to standard operating practices
  • Proactive selling of products and services ensuring the best possible itinerary for the guests
  • Constant, consistent interaction and clear communication with colleagues, agents, operator’s guests and suppliers
