About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and ambitious Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Strijdom Park, Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing effective marketing strategies, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee sales development and implementation of effective sales plans to stay ahead of competitors
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies for increased customer interaction
- Create a team culture where customer experience and excellence is a focus
- Motivate, lead, coach the sales team to exceed goals and targets
- Build and maintain customer relationships by ensuring the highest level of customer care
- Ensure best stock purchases based on accurate residual values to assist the new car department
- Manage aged stock
- Coach team members where necessary by providing constructive feedback and mutual productivity plans for effective performance
- Continue to drive improvement in all aspects of the sales environment
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Automotive Sales Management at a franchise dealership
- Experience within a high-volume brand
- Pre-owned sales experience and residual value knowledge
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Ambitious, Self-driven, and Results-focused
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Negotiation and deal-closing skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office and Autobid Experience
