About the Role
Join Network Finance as a Cost Accountant in our Western Cape office, where you will play a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency and financial performance. As a key member of our finance team, you will assist with budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and reporting, working closely with management to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain detailed cost models and cost analyses
- Monitor, analyse, and report on production and operational costs
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
- Perform variance analysis and provide clear explanations to management
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Track actual performance against budget and highlight key variances
- Prepare accurate monthly management reports
- Deliver meaningful financial insights to management
- Support ad-hoc financial and operational analysis
Requirements
- BCom Accounting or similar accounting degree
- Strong management accounting background preferred
- 3–5 years’ experience in a management accounting or cost accounting role
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
