About the Role
As a Draughtsman at Persona Staff, you will be responsible for producing high-quality 2D and 3D CAD drawings to accurately represent event designs and layouts. You will work closely with site teams to ensure that furniture and equipment placement is precise, functional, and compliant with venue regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings to accurately represent event designs and layouts.
- Develop floor plans for events, including stages, seating arrangements, furniture, and decor.
- Map out venues digitally, using site measurements or existing venue plans as a guide.
- Adjust and revise layouts to reflect on-site changes or last-minute client updates.
- Ensure furniture and equipment placement is precise, functional, and compliant with venue regulations.
- Review drawings regularly, updating them according to design revisions or feedback from site teams.
- Deliver high-quality drawings on schedule, adhering to company and industry standards.
- Identify ways to improve design efficiency and reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Keep organized project documentation for current and future reference.
Requirements
- Matric certificate or equivalent.
- Strong skills in CAD software.
- Basic knowledge of health & safety standards, including evacuation procedures and venue capacity limits.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical specifications accurately.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
