About the Role
GAP Consulting is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrument Design Technician to join their team in the Western Cape region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design and drafting, with experience in petrochemical and waste water treatment works.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct electrical and instrumentation design for various industries
- Create detailed designs using AutoCAD for Electrical Design and Drafting
- Utilize project management software to coordinate projects effectively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years’ extensive Electrical and Instrumentation Design experience
- Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) or Professional Technician Engineer (Pr Tech Eng) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Proficient in AutoCAD for Electrical Design and Drafting essential
- Proficiency in Project Management Software advantageous
- Experience in Petrochem and/or Waste Water Treatment works essential
- Exposure in Chemical and Food Industries an advantage
- Valid Driver’s License
