This position involves:
Collaborating with the Shared Services & Finance Manager to maintain strong financial controls,
Ensuring compliance with internal frameworks and statutory requirements and optimize processes for efficiency.
Reviewing business systems (finance and operations)
Engaging with insurance brokers
Making submissions of VAT, PAYE, TAX, UIF, Secretarial and Annual returns, ETI returns
Overseeing claims management processes
Timeously reporting to the CEO & CFO
Collaborating with auditors
 
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience
Strong experience in Auditing, Accounting controls, Service Industry, or cleaning industry.
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Strong management of staff experience
Accpac (Sage 300)
Attention to detail
Experienced in Projects Management, Total Quality Management systema and HR-related matters,
 
Qualification:
BCom Accounting + Articles
BCom Honors (advantageous)
CA(SA) (advantageous)

Provide financial control, accurate reporting, and compliance oversight across the Group and its business units, including month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation
Ensure robust financial controls, maintain GL and balance sheet integrity, prepare standard and ad-hoc reports, and manage statutory compliance including audits, VAT, tax, ETI, insurance, and BBBEE reporting
Develop and maintain strong relationships with operational and financial business partners, provide timely financial guidance, and actively participate in business meetings to support decision-making
Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, implement system improvements, and digitize manual tasks to support business performance
 
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years experience in an Auditing, Accounting control environment
OR newly qualified CA(SA) will be considered
Multi-entities / Group / Shared services exposure essential
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
High level of proficiency in Accpac / Sage 300

Qualification:
Degree in Finance or Accounting
Completed articles
Newly qualified CA(SA) beneficial

Oversee group-level financial control and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all business units
Manage the month-end close, consolidation, and preparation of management reports within tight deadlines
Support forecasting and budgeting processes, including template design, variance analysis, and performance reporting
Maintain integrity of the general ledger and balance sheet through strong reconciliations and efficient processes
Drive improvements in financial systems, reporting tools, and automation to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Coordinate audit and tax processes, liaising with external auditors and advisors to ensure statutory compliance
Manage key aspects of compliance and corporate governance, including VAT, PAYE, insurance, and other regulatory submissions
Partner with operational and divisional teams to provide insights, strengthen controls, and support informed business decisions
 
Skills & Experience:
BCom Accounting degree with completed Honours OR completed article
Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial accounting, auditing, or group reporting within a complex business environment
OR
Newly Qualified CA(SA)
Strong technical knowledge of financial controls, consolidations, and statutory compliance
Advanced Excel and ERP system skills
Meticulous attention to detail, with a drive for continuous improvement and process innovation
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy

Qualification:
Tertiary qualification in Finance and Honours
Completed articles: SAIPA, CIMA, SAICA
