About the Role
We are seeking a Key Accounts Manager to join our team in the Western Cape region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining key customer relationships, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the customer base through a deep understanding of the FMCG sector
- Lead the feed sales team in servicing the sector and driving customer excellence
- Analyze market trends and connect product knowledge to drive business development and sales growth
- Negotiate effectively with customers to achieve desired outcomes
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in commodity trading in a similar role
- Ability to negotiate effectively
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Goal-driven mindset
- Solid background in business development and sales
- Understanding of stock management and customer service principles
Qualifications
- Degree in Agriculture, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline (preferred)
