Job Title: Materials Engineer – Aeronautics
Location: Cape town – Airport City
Salary:

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in materials science or engineering, preferably in the aeronautical or aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in material testing equipment, CAD software, and data analysis tools.
Beneficial requirements:
- Strong knowledge of materials properties, testing methods, and aerospace applications.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Research and develop new materials for use in aircraft components, ensuring durability, performance, and safety.
- Analyze material properties and conduct tests to evaluate performance under various conditions.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to select and optimize materials for specific aeronautical applications.
- Evaluate and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for materials in aerospace engineering.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and recommendations on material performance and improvements.
